An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is charged with addressing skills students need to develop in order to access grade level curriculum. The most logical starting point to ensure your child is receiving targeted, purposeful instruction is to review their educational and psychological assessments. By analyzing the results of these assessments, I am able to pinpoint specific deficits in skills that need to be the focus of instruction, resulting in increased skill development and efficient progress.

• Are prerequisite skills secure before moving on to the next level?

• Do the goals created match most essential needs?

• Has baseline data been collected and used to drive criteria for goals?

• Do accommodations match research-based scaffolds and strategies effective for your child’s specific processing needs?
